Blu-ray Player Shipment Status

Good morning! We’ve got some great news.

We’re expecting to start shipments of the Blu-ray players the week of July 21st.

Although the beta Blu-ray player software has been complete for some time, there were some unexpected compatibilty challenges that delayed the player release. But after putting our best minds on the problem, the good news is that we’ve been able to solve it.

In the meantime take a moment to browse ClearPlay.com for the latest selection of supported Blu-ray titles. We’ll be providing Blu-ray filters for all new releases moving forward and then will progressively add Blu-ray filters for our existing  library of over 4000 DVD titles in the coming weeks.

  1. Looking forward to receiving my clearplay! I was wondering how long it will take to release the blu ray filters from the back catalog of filters? Also will newer releases such as 300: Rise of an Empire have blu ray filters soon? Looking forward to providing great feedback in the beta program.

    • Thanks! We will be providing blu-ray filters for new releases moving forward and then working to backfill blu-ray filters for the existing DVD filter library by the end of the year.

      • Yes, the blu-ray filters are included in the filters you download from clearplay.com. Just follow the normal process of downloading filters onto a USB stick and the player will recognize both DVD and Blu-ray filters.
